Have u heard of the salary theorem?

(1) Power = Work / Time
Postulate 1 and 2 lead to the following:

(2) Knowledge = Power
(3) Time = Money
Substituting Equations 2 and 3 into Equation 1 yields:

(4) Knowledge = Work / Money
Solving Equation 4 for Money we get the following:

(5) Money = Work / Knowledge
Now saying that Money is a function of Knowledge and taking the limit as Knowledge approached infinity we get a surprising result.

(6) Money = Work / Knowledge = 0 as Knowledge approaches infinity.

From this we obtain that an individual must perform an amount of Work that greatly overmatches there Knowledge or be completely stupid and do very little work in order to make a lot of money.

This is not ridiculous - it is fu#*%$& cool! :)

sorry to contact you off topic, but i was having problems getting mail-to-weblog feature to work in dasBlog and while doing research, i ran across the following post: http://www.peterprovost.org/archive/2003/07/30/646.aspx.

i would appreciate any help you can provide. I checked the prefix, checked the connection, everything seems right. What I don't understand is that I didn't start any service that would do POP3 checking, so I am not sure how it is supposed to work...
