Two non technical comments in a day; very rare. And two "thank you" messages, too. But this one has to be:

Thank you, President Reagan. Sir, you will have my respect forever for winning the cold war and having more than just a leading role in the fall of Berlin Wall.

Is "having more than just a leading role in the fall of Berlin Wall" some sort of parody I don't get?
What I remember from the news (much close to the very wall) is that it was the Sovjet side that was the leading role...

Maybe if you read everything as a literal. Regan had a leading role in American policies that contributed to a much faster fall of Communism then would have happened if left on its own.

There's nothing funny about it.
